So is this released today or is this on Patreon only atm? Could you for the future indicate whether the update is a patreon release or a public release in the title of the update? That'd be a fantastic help with expectations!

if you're talking about the latest update then I don't think so since he states no new content only Rhoun sprite update. 2.2 has been out for a while now almost 2 months, 2.2 Rhoun update isn't a content update.

It's not like the horror element is a bad thing. It adds more tension to the story making much more satisfying and fun when the Ben ends up having a chill day and has fun.

The approach to it is what bugs me the most if anything, like the nightmares are a nice touch but it's frustrating when we as readers see the nightmare foreshadowing shit when the mc wakes up clueless as ever since he barely remembers the dreams! Maybe an approach similar to PasswordVN would work since it incorporates elements of replay-ability along with audience interaction to try and decipher nightmares and what Ben can do. Also what the honest fuck is up with the hall being an ominous place or that fucked up wellness center giving him insanity meds? They rarely retouch on that aspect! Eager to find out how that played into the whole mystery aspect. Mentioned PasswordVN for a reason considering how much of an uncanny resemblance Zach's bizarre unspoken ability is to it. Love that for his character though!

Only person who seems aware is Zach and even then Ben refuses to talk with him about the nightmares or the fucking red figure stalking him, like honestly dude! Wake up, for the whole 'communication is key' shpiel he sucks at it! And I loved the anagrams at first but they rarely reappear, instead the game flat out gives us what the anagrams meant which is kind of a bummer considering it added to the whole element of intrigue but appeared to later be simplified since I guess not too many players were fond of it.

The depth does feel like we're being tossed into the deep end with little to no relative ease into the whole situation, I get people are deep as shit irl but other than spies, no one is that good at not showing how they are in actuality.

You make it sound like the paywall is something disastrous. For $3 it's a steal. There is nothing wrong with the author putting it behind a paywall especially one as small as this one. smh to think I almost took your review and comment seriously, HAH!

Edit: locking the option behind a paywall is inaccurate, the game is tailor made 16+, gay romance option would've launched it into 18+ categories, there is absolutely nothing about this that's a paywall, it's legit simply an additional route and option that requires payment, by definition that's a DLC...

Again, by all logic standards he would have gone to Dylan BEFORE finding out it was Eden who fucked up his life, do you honestly believe they'd let someone walk away and casually live with a friend after they erase his life? All going to Dylan would have accomplished is turning Dylan into a target as well.

The getting shot part is irrelevant, it's depressing and showcases how little of a choice Adrian has. He has no other option than to roll with the punches especially considering the guy who shot him is going to be training him on a near-daily basis. It was unfortunate but not life-threatening or devastating, I've been shot before in places much worse than a mere near miss on my ear, I WISH the shots were a near miss. Let's also put ourselves in Adrian's shoes, no other options, he has to stay in the base probably until Eden is fucked, he'll see the raccoon walking around and training him frequently, and he legit is in no position to get pissy with him. While it's not excusable it's understandable that Adrian would forgive and forget quickly.

There were 3 henchmen that went into the bar that night, one threatened Adrian the other 2 went with Oswald, there is absolutely no way he killed those two agents. He says "I took care of it" but that doesn't mean killing them, killing agents on TOP of their base is remarkably idiotic to the point where it seems the author has to clarify it so people like you don't get the wrong idea. It's heavily implied if you have a set mindset into wanting to think that, biased views.

It's also mentioned this project was a partnership with 3 other VNs, if that's the case then I'm fairly certain they're busy with their own VNs to actually work on this project, that'd explain the delays. Hell even if they didn't have other VNs to work on I doubt all of them can afford to work on this VN full-time, life is demanding enough without having people shit all over you while you're trying to make a free project. Constructive criticism works wonders, blatant complaining does the opposite.

Tell me what Adrian's options are? His life got fully uprooted by an organization that's presumably doing good in the public eye, hell uprooted is too kind a word for what actually happened to him. The only person kind enough to help him out turned out to be part of the resistance, he even took him to the base, his options were homelessness or resistance, kinda obvious which one he'd go with.

As for Oswald killing Eden personnel, why would he not have a more stoic calm approach? Oswald is one of the leaders as we've been given that impression, how are you supposed to undermine and expose an organization that has more power than the government itself? Was Oswald meant to give them flowers? Also, what gave you the impression he killed 2 people in the beginning? He took them away from the public, and from there well something' happened to cause his suit to be more untidy, it gives the impression they manhandled him and he let them, dude can dodge a tiger's power punches but can't dodge what are simple grunts from beating him up?

Forgiving the bullet wound wasn't 'easy', Adrian was under the impression it was a simple scratch and not a piece missing. Benjie apologized beforehand and made amends by being less of a hardass for the training he had to go through, during that week there may have been more talks between Adrian and Benjie that we aren't made aware of, timeskips aren't just zip-zap zoom nothing else happened but training. Let's also not forget the fact it's nothing but a visual scar, no permanent damage.

The story progression isn't fast, it's just right. Seeing the whole week of training go by would've been boring and a waste of time. Timeskips happen in most VNs.

This project doesn't even have a Patreon to it's name yet here you are thinking they're entitled to release chapters on a more regular basis, hell you even made your account just to publish your poor excuse of a "review".

I'll mention this one last time: this project's creators owe you nothing, they're releasing a free project to the public, you think that makes you somehow in any position to make demands?

$116.82 only to trick people with the 99% off? bruuuuuuuuuuuuh, that's slimy asf
